Frequently asked
questions.

Where do I start?

With Strength Start, if you're looking for a dumbbell workout. The Fresh Start Meal Plan is a separate package: recipes, an ebook and an interactive meal planner.

What equipment do I need?

Dumbbells and a bench or other stable support. The Strength Start plan has four workouts a week, each about 55 to 65 minutes.

Am I too old to start strength training at 50?

No. Muscle responds to training at any age, as long as the stimulus is enough and it comes regularly. The conditions change: recovery can be slower, so we start with the movement, not the weight.

How often should a woman over 40 lift weights?

Train each muscle group twice a week. In Strength Start that's four workouts a week; three work too if that's all the time you have.

I've already bought something. How do I get back to it?

Choose “Sign in” and enter the email address you bought with. We'll send you a link and a six-digit code. No password needed.
