The rules

How we collect reviews. And what we don't do.

We collect reviews only from customers who have bought, through an email invitation after the purchase or a form on the platform that only buyers can open. We publish them with the authors' consent, after moderation. We reject reviews that make claims about health or body weight or contain personal data. We don't reject a review because its rating is negative.

Only after a purchase

The form exists only on the platform after signing in, and only for a paid order that hasn't been refunded. One review per order.

We change nothing

The text can't be edited in the panel. A review can be published, rejected for one of two reasons, or sent back to its author for a new version.

Negative ones too

A rating is never a reason to reject. A low rating gets Asia's reply within 48 hours and stays visible.

No weight, no health

Reviews about health effects or body weight aren't published. The reviews on the site speak about habits and everyday life.

Numbers from the database

The average, the count, the topic counters and the purchase months are computed on the server. Without reviews there is no section, and never a sample quote.

Consent and withdrawal

A separate, unticked consent to publish. One email withdrawing it takes the review off the site within a day.

Who can write a review

Only someone who bought the product on joanasi.com and whose order is paid and hasn't been refunded. The form is on the platform, after signing in, next to that order. Access granted without a payment doesn't come with a form.

When we ask

Only after real use. On the platform, after a week of using the planner or the shopping list, we ask once for a private rating from 1 to 5. Only Asia sees it: it never appears on the site or in the average. The form for a review to publish is always available under Materials. 21 days after the purchase we send one email, only to people who agreed to receive messages and used the planner or the shopping list in the last two weeks. We choose by use, not by satisfaction. Someone who did not use it in that time gets no email at all, not even later. Nothing more.

What we reject

For two reasons only:

  • claims about health or body weight
  • personal data in the text

The author gets an email with the reason and can send a new version. We don't reject a review for its rating or its criticism. We don't change or shorten the text; Asia can only underline a fragment, and the whole stays next to it.

How we work out the numbers

  • The average is the plain mean of the ratings of published reviews, to one decimal place. The count is the number of published reviews.
  • The recommendation percentage is the share of "Yes" answers to the question whether she'd recommend it to a friend, among all answers. We show it only from 5 answers.
  • The topic counters are the number of published reviews whose author ticked that topic.
  • The quote by the order form is drawn at random from published reviews rated at least 4 out of 5, and shown only from 3 published reviews. The reviews on the home page are chosen by Asia from the published ones.
  • "Bought in" is the month the order was paid, and "has used it for" is the number of full weeks from the day access opened to the day she wrote the review.

How to withdraw consent

Write to hello@joanasi.com from the address you bought with. We'll take the review off the site within a day. The consent and its withdrawal are recorded with the order.
